About
Coop group leads the upkeep of Cleopatra's, our resident hen's, enclosure and coop area. Although she is 5 years old now and not laying eggs anymore, Cleo still appreciates the care and attention she receives from students. It's also a great way to make friends and learn some interesting things about caring for animals. Come join us!

Announcements
Coop Group will be meeting from 10:40-11:15 for months 6 and 7 due to theater rehearsals. After the play performances February 19-21, we will resume our normal meeting time of 11:00-11:45. Thank you for your understanding. We hope to see everyone soon!

Recent Projects
Sand
The ground of the coop has been leveled with sand from Home Depot. The new sand now provides Cleo with more spots to dust bathe. It also mitigates the large pool of water we would get when it rains. Cleo is diligently creating new dust bathing holes as her old ones were filled in!
New Coop Ramp
The coop now has a new, sturdy ramp to replace the rotting old one. It's withstood a year and the paint hasn't started to chip off yet.
Above Netting
To ensure Cleopatra is safe in her coop, we fixed any holes in the above netting to keep out any predators. She can now sleep sound at night
